The Thursday after our "Healing I" class

The Thursday after our Healing I class, I was walking my two tiny dogs by myself. I usually walk with my husband, but he was working, so I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to invite my Healing Master along and give him a tour of the neighbourhood.
As we walked past our local store, an off-leash Great Dane suddenly headed straight toward us. After a brief skirmish, I scooped up my boys and ran directly to the emergency vet.  I asked my Healing Master to stay with us and help the injured dog. I asked for his help and for a healing miracle.
The veterinarian was astounded. After examining my dog, she repeatedly told us how lucky we were. She explained that the bite wound was highly unusual, as she would normally expect to see two puncture wounds rather than one. She was also surprised that there was no additional damage. However, she remained concerned about the possibility of infection and long-term skin damage that could require another surgery.
When we returned home, I asked my Healing Master to stay with us for three days and three nights and help my little guy heal quickly, easily, and without infection. It was such a gift to wake up and see my Healing Master sitting at the end of the bed beside my dog, night after night. I also slept deeply, which is unusual when one of my dogs is unwell.
What the veterinarian expected would take fourteen days to heal, with likely complications, ended up taking only five days. My dog is now right as rain and padding along quite happily.
